Polyphenylene oxide (PPO), also known as polyphenylene ether (PPE), is a thermoplastic, linear, noncrystalline polyether that is one of the most important engineering plastics due to its high strength, high heat distortion temperature, and high chemical resistance, low moisture absorption, excellent electrical insulation property, and excellent dimension stability, PPO has been widely used for a broad range of applications.
